“I wanted to share my CAT CrockPET success story. When my husband and I first met, he had an 11yr old cat named Emily who was quite obese and suffered from dry flaky skin, poor coat quality, and painful arthritis. She was obsessive about water, couldn’t jump higher than a coffee table and couldn’t even reach to groom her lower half. She weighed 18lbs.
My husband had been feeding her excellent quality dry food but only about 2 tablespoons twice daily in an attempt for her to lose weight. She would not eat canned food so this was my biggest hurdle when transitioning her to CrockPET. Over the course of 2 months, I very slowly added small amounts of CrockPET to her dry food which she initially hated. It took about 3 months for her to completely make the transition but we noticed positive changes immediately. She no longer begged for water from the bath tub faucet.
