Another Closeup

You don’t need to be a crazy cat lady to fall in love with some of the most famous cats on the Internet.

Thankfully, famous cat owners understand the importance of keeping cats healthy. Because of them, we get to experience the joy of cats every day with the simple click of a button.

Has a quirky but loveable Internet cat pawed its way into your life yet?

I bet you can’t make it through the following funny felines without falling in love with at least one.

1#. Grumpy Cat

Grumpy Cat, a.k.a. Tardar Sauce, is the curmudgeon of the cat world. Her grumpy features are caused by a form of feline dwarfism. Grumpy Cat became an Internet sensation in 2013 after her picture was uploaded to Reddit.

Her fan base consists mostly of men and women who spend a majority of their days yelling at kids to “get off their lawn.”

#2. Snoopy the Cat

Snoopy the cat is famous worldwide, but holds the highest fan base in China. She enjoys dressing up and having her picture taken. She’s famous for her impeccable style, chubby cat cheeks, and big beautiful eyes.

#3. Hamilton the Hipster Cat

It’s true that there is a type of cat for any kind of cat lover out there. Hamilton is famous for his solid white, all-natural mustache that could make any man jealous. His trendy facial hair puts him on the map as one of the most popular, and hip, cats on the Internet.

#4. Colonel Meow

Colonel Meow became famous in 2012 when his owners posted his picture online. He attracted a lot of attention because of his intense scowling face and long hair. There’s no question why he goes by the title of Colonel.

One look at that werewolf’s face and you’ll be saying “Yes, Sir” as you follow his orders. Colonel Meow also holds a Guinness World Record for the cat with the longest fur. It measures nine inches long.

#5. Lil Bub

Lil Bub is an All-American Girl. She is known on the Internet for her “perma-kitten” appearance. Her facial deformations are caused by genetic mutations, which also cause her tongue to stick out. Despite her genetic differences, she is awfully cute!

#6. Maru

Maru is his name and boxes are his game. He is a Scottish Fold that lives in Japan. This box- loving cat finds his fame on YouTube where he has over a million hits as of today!

#7. Honeybee

Honeybee is living proof that we should never let a disability hold us back. Her sense of sight might be gone but her sense of adventure is always present. Honeybee gained followers when her owner posted images and stories of her hiking adventures online.

#8. Venus

At first glance Venus appears to be an attempt of cat photo shopping gone wrong. The reason Venus appears to have two faces is that she has a rare genetic phenomena. She resides with her family in Florida and has a website where she interacts with her fans.

#9. Nala

Nala lives in Los Angeles, California, and is most known for her “shocked face.” When she’s not in Hollywood auditioning for Stephen King movies, she’s a Feline Instagram Star. Nala has over 1.68 million followers.

#10. Sam the Cat with Eyebrows

Sam is famous for his beautiful white fur and bushy black eyebrows. He was rescued by a family in New York. His unique markings draw attention from people around the world. He currently has 24,000 Instagram followers.
