Infected Ears

Pets that suffer from allergies are predisposed to ear infections.

Why? Because allergens inflame the skin.

The inflammation then allows bacteria and yeast to grow inside the ear canal.
How can you tell if your pet’s ears are infected?

Ear scratching, head shaking, and stinky ears are common symptoms of ear infections. If you notice your pet getting regular ear infections, it’s very possible that allergens are the cause.

After recording your pet’s symptoms, the next step is to talk to your vet.

It’s important to always be honest with your vet.

Don’t leave out information. The more your vet knows, the easier it will be to diagnose your pet.
